Pai Mutan “White Peony”


Typical white tea produced in south-eastern coastal Fujian Province. The leaves are a combination of tips, broken leaf and larger unbroken leaf. The clear, very pale yellow infusion has a sweet muscatel aroma and a velvety smooth, sweet and mild flavour with a hint of nuttiness.

Chinese white tea. Contains caffeine.

Brewing Instructions:
1 teaspoon per cup, brew for 2-5 minutes in water that is about 80°C then pour. Suitable for 3 infusions.
